Who is eligible?
Princeton University undergraduate and graduate alumni are eligible to sign up for the Alumni Association's E-mail Services.
What services do you offer?
The Alumni Association currently offers alumni:
- A lifetime alumni.Princeton.edu e-mail address.
- E-mail Forwarding. With E-mail Forwarding, you keep your existing e-mail connection to the Internet and your existing non-Princeton e-mail account. Signing up for E-mail Forwarding allows you to forward any e-mail sent to your alumni.Princeton.edu address to any e-mail account you specify.
The Alumni Association does not provide Internet access. You will need to sign up for Internet access through an Internet Service Provider (ISP).
Why should I subscribe?
Signing up for an alumni.Princeton.edu e-mail address and E-mail Forwarding allows you to:
- Maintain your Princeton identity. An alumni.Princeton.edu address identifies you as a Princetonian to
both fellow alumni and the outside world. This makes it easy and
comfortable to communicate with alumni, as you are instantly identified
as part of the Princeton "family." And a Princeton address refers to
your experience and capabilities on business cards and resumes.
- Have an e-mail account with any provider. E-mail Forwarding allows you to use your alumni.Princeton.edu e-mail address with an e-mail account from any e-mail service provider. We recommend you sign up for an e-mail service provider who offers:
- Large mailbox capacities
- Large file attachment sizes
- Improved virus and spam filtering
- 24/7 customer service
- Use only one e-mail address. with an alumni.Princeton.edu e-mail address and E-mail Forwarding, you never need to worry about notifying people of your new e-mail address. Since your alumni.Princeton.edu e-mail address is always available, all you need to do anytime you change e-mail accounts is update your E-mail Forwarding settings so your mail to alumni.Princeton.edu gets directed to the new e-mail account. Please note: At this time, e-mail sent to your alumni.Princeton.edu e-mail address can only be forwarded to one e-mail account.
When can I sign up?
Princeton University undergraduate and graduate alumni can sign up at any time for an alumni.Princeton.edu e-mail address and for E-mail Forwarding.
