The APGA Regional Association Award was established in 2007. It is presented annually by the Association of Princeton Graduate Alumni (APGA) to a Princeton Regional Association that has made a notable effort toward increasing participation by Princeton graduate alumni in its local activities and/or fostering the cause of graduate education and the Graduate School at Princeton University. Only one award will be given each year.
The award may be given to any Princeton Regional Association that has not received it within the past 5 years.
Nominations for the award shall be submitted in writing and may come from any source. They shall be solicited annually by APGA through its Nominations and Awards Committee. The deadline for receipt of nominations shall be December 15.
The APGA Nominations and Awards Committee shall review nominations and make recommendations to the Governing Board of the Association of Princeton Graduate Alumni. Final selection shall be made by a vote of the APGA Governing Board.
The selection process shall be completed by February so the winning association may be notified and the award presented to its representatives at the Annual Alumni Council Reunion Luncheon.
Type of Award
The award shall consist of a citation. The name of the recipient association will be engraved on a trophy displayed at Maclean House.
