Joe Prather's son works for Merrill Lynch in Hopewell, NJ. He is
a handsome gene clone of his father, except his hair is dark instead
of Joe's distinguished white. Richard Manning wore attractive orange
pants with his matching Class of 1961 hat. He was spotted at several
of the seminars. Spencer looked great as a son of the West in his
cowboy boots. I know that Justin Kimball was proud to see the Class
of 1961 ties that he helped develop being worn and receiving
complements from other Alumni.

What a moving experience it was. I had to fight back the tears
when all of the class reps stood in the Narthex of the chapel with
the choir and sang In Praise of Old Nassau along with several
thousand Alumni and guests.
As we waited in the small chapel on the left, I talked with Bob
Hillier '59.. He looked at me and seriously said "we have
moved back a pew this year (now row 5 of 6)." There were only
15 classes ahead of us in the odd numbered classes (30 if you add
the even numbered classes on the other side.) Everybody else
sitting in front of me was younger.
I appreciated this experience.
