45th Reunion
Finance & Registration

Joe Prather 5/4/06
Dear Classmates:
In response to concerns raised about the fee structure, we have
reviewed the fees and discussed the issue with several committee members.
The classmates are the ones putting on the 45th reunion for the class
and for their wives, children, grandchildren, and other guests. It is the
classmates' responsibility to pay for the fixed costs of our 45th. The
fees that we charge our guests should cover only the marginal costs of
having them join us.
We are satisfied that the fee we, as classmates, are paying properly
reflects the fixed costs of bands, undergraduate staff salaries, and
rentals; and also the variable costs of meals and costumes. We feel the
fee for the wives is also proper. A revision to the Saturday-only
guest fees is warranted. The new fees will be:
Children 6 and under will be free and will include lunch, a badge, and
wrist band, any costume items will be a la carte.
Children over 6 will be $35 and will include lunch, T-shirt, badge and
wristband.
Any overpayment already made will be refunded.
We apologize for any problems the initial fee schedule has caused and
wish that we had been clever enough to get the right insight earlier.
