Thursday, June 24th
Fifty-four regular NROTC members of the Class of 1951 report to the U. S. Naval
Station, Treasure Island, California, for their first of three summer midshipman
cruises.
Saturday, June 26th
NROTC midshipmen embark on the battleship Iowa in San Francisco Bay and sail under
the Golden Gate bridge into the Pacific to begin a 56 day cruise.
Wednesday, June 30th
USS Iowa arrives in Seattle for a five day stay.
