Below is information on many aspects of the Reunion. If you have additional questions, check the Reunion website Princeton1958.com or contact any member of the Reunion Committee.

1. Wristbands: The University now requires that anyone entering the Reunion site wear the official Princeton Reunion wristband. These have designations as to Classmates, progeny, or Satellite Classes, in accordance with the New Jersey Alcohol Commission Laws. Wristband distribution is under the control of the University, not our Class, and are given out only to paid registrants.

2. Alumni Faculty Forums: These informative and relevant sessions are spread out through the campus, and are listed by time and topic on our Website.

3. Attire: Ladies are requested to try to wear something orange if possible. Slacks are acceptable for all events. Please be prepared for the possibility of rain.
Gentlemen are asked to wear the Class jacket, Class tie, white Ducks and white Bucks for the Friday night dinner; this is also the attire for the P-rade. If possible, gentlemen should wear the Class Jacket for the Service of Remembrance. Our Reunion jacket is the one we adopted from the Class of 1933, 25 years our senior, during their 50th and our 25th Reunion. The Class of ’83 has adopted it as well.

4. Bands: Scheduling of musical groups is such that great music is almost constantly playing.
There will be quiet places available should you prefer not to listen to the music.

• The New Leviathan Oriental Foxtrot Orchestra of New Orleans, who put on a great show with vocalist and raconteur George Schmidt. They play music great for dancing.
• The Hot Club of New Orleans, presenting music in the spirit of the 1930’s Django Reinhardt: quiet, refined, and beautiful.
• Treme Brass Band, the outstanding Brass Band of New Orleans, bringing back memories of the Olympia Brass Band, which you may remember from our past Reunions.
• The Severins Band, presenting a terrific show, with great music for dancing.
• Panorama Jazz Band plays an eclectic combination of styles. Most everyone in the audience finds something in their repertoire to enjoy and dance to.
• SoulCruisers, an 11-man vocal harmony group with horns, playing with much energy and passion.
• Loose Marbles, sort of an Amalgamated Jazz Corporation with five musicians playing instruments including clarinet, trumpet, banjo, washboard, accordion, guitars, and more.
• The Joseph A. Ferko String Band, the most famous Mummers Group worldwide, will lead us in the P-rade.

5. Bar Service: Premium liquors will be offered at our two bars, ours being the first Reunion ever to host two bars at its locations.

6. Bus transportation: A private trolley for the Class of 1958 will be running between the Hyatt and the Reunion site all day and into the night. If you are staying at another hotel, you will be able to park at the Hyatt to catch the trolley. There are also University buses that go from all locations up and down Route 1. A bus schedule is available on the University website.

7. Class of 1958 Special Programs: Two tours of the campus will be offered by the both the Princeton University Architect and the Chief of Buildings and Grounds. There will also be a musical program with a short dialogue presented by New Orleans survivors of Hurricane Katrina.

8. Dining: Dinners will be events not to be missed, with world famous New Orleans cuisine accompanied by their music, starting Thursday.

• Additional on-site costs: There will be a charge for all grandchildren for any meals except for the Saturday lunch, which is included in their $25.00 fee. Thursday dinner is $50.00, Friday dinner is $70.00, and Saturday dinner is $60.00. There is also an additional cost for your children if they are coming Thursday of $85.00.

9. Items for sale: Umbrellas, shirts, hats, the new Class tie, tote bags, and braces. Rocks and Highball glasses may be ordered in advance for delivery to your home. (See website for ordering info.)

10. Lodging: Bear Kinkead (408) 867-3554 and Ed Metcalf (609) 921-2386 are coordinating Reunion lodging. Please contact either of them with any questions about rooms.

11. Memorial Service: This moving event will be held Friday at 10:30 am at the University Chapel. Reverend Dennis Day will lead the service. The name of every deceased ’58 Classmate will be read aloud.
