Unbridle your tongue! In a city of glass houses, the truth is but a stone's throw away.
Don't miss The Queen's Company production of Richard Brinsley Sheridan's delicious comedy of city folks behaving badly. Admit it. We all like gossip. In our age of rumor run rampant we all yearn for a twisted tongue to tell us a tantalizing tale of who is doing what behind which closed door. Let the games begin! Love is lost and gained, honor ruined and revived as sharp wits target their heart's desire. A tongue is a terrible thing to waste....
Join us for a wonderful production of a classic comedy, followed by a cocktail party and reception with the talented (and gorgeous) cast! Out cast members and Queen's Company board members include NYU's Lauren Jill Ahrold, Berkeley's Shanti Elise Prasad, Brown's Kate Bornstein, Smith's Barbara Carrellas. Queen's Company leadership includes UCLA's Rebecca Patterson and Virginia Baeta, and SUNY Binghamton's DeeAnn Weir.
The Queen's Company delivers the classical theatre you want to see: edgy, hip, sexy, dangerous and delightful. For three years our all-female company has given you strong women, great acting, and a superb story well told. There's a reason critics are saying, "Sumptuous, sassy and smart, The Queen's Company has a zesty sexy woman's indie aesthetic that's not afraid of pop culture, camp, lesbian heat, or (gasp!) sexiness." HX Magazine.
