Join us on a gay and lesbian tour of the Chelsea galleries. We did this tour last October and it was a huge success with over 100 alumni attending. We're planning a reception to follow - details of this and the tour's starting location will be announced shortly. Since the art in the galleries changes continually, this tour will be completely different from the last one.

Our reception is being hosted by Long Fine Art, a small gallery on 14th street that has been a fixture of the New York art scene for many years.

We strongly encourage you to let us know if you will attend. Last fall we added a second tour guide due to the strong attendance. We will do this again if we hear from enough people.

New York City is the world's center for contemporary art, and home to some of the finest art galleries anywhere. New York Gallery Tours' director visits over 100 art gallery exhibits each month and selects the 10 most fascinating and provocative ones for you to visit, in Chelsea and beyond. You'll see the very newest in painting, sculpture, electronic media and photography. At each stop on the walking tour, our guide explains the artwork and leads the group in lively discussion with a focus on art of interest to the LGBT community.

For more information about our tour guide, visit New York Gallery Tours at: http://www.nygallerytours.com/gay.htm
Please note that the tour leaves promptly at 1:15pm.
