Help us "Keep Austin Weird" by joining your fellow LGBT Alumni in the Austin area as we re-establish the Fund for Reunion mixer in Austin! It's been on hiatus for a while, but your hosts Troy Gras (Cornell), Eliseo Rios (Cornell) and Brian Smith (Stanford) are gathering at Austin's new premier wine bar, Cork & Co to take off with some wine flights and we'd like you to join us! Cork & Co has wine specials from 3-8pm as well as $5 appetizers.

We welcome lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered alumni from the Ivy League and Seven Sisters schools, University of Texas-Austin, Stanford, and UC Berkeley as well as their partners and friends!

Cork & Co. is both a wine flight bar and a retail store. In "wine flights," customers can taste several wines of the same type - such as shiraz from Australia - in smaller samples. Patrons also can buy bottles of any of the wines to take with them. Although the bar does not have a kitchen, it does use caterers to offer cheese plates and chocolate items that pair well with the wine. In addition, Cork & Co. offers activities, such as pizza and Italian wines on Monday nights, wine tastings and classes, with an emphasis on making the entry-level wine drinker feel comfortable.

If your school has an LGBT alumni association, we will share your information with them unless you request otherwise.
