Summer in Austin is in full swing...If the heat in May is any indication, it will probably be a scorcher. Come beat the heat in the cool Hyde Park wine cave that is Vino Vino! Share a cool glass of a South American or European white wine with your Austin/San Antonio FFR hosts Brian Smith (Stanford), Douglas Plummer (Harvard), Danny Ramon (Univ of Texas) and Shawn Cowls (Princeton - in absentia). Make some new acquaintances and show your diversity by gathering with your LGBT university alums in the Austin/San Antonio area. Brian will wear a PINK shirt to make the group easy to find. And as always, please feel free to bring your friends and partners with you! We love a crowd...
Located in the Hyde Park neighborhood next to the Hyde Park Gym (look for the big bicep on the building), Vino Vino is broadening Austinites' wine palate with selections from Italy, Spain and other regions beyond the California region most of us know and love. Wine flights are available as well as an extensive tapas-style appetizer menu which can be paired with recommended wines. All of this is packaged in a warm, sophisticated modern space with wonderful ambiance. Learn what other Austinites think on Yelp! at: http://www.yelp.com/biz/vino-vino-austin
We welcome lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered alumni and students over the age of 21 from the Ivy League and Seven Sisters schools, University of Texas-Austin, Stanford, and UC Berkeley as well as their partners and friends!
To subscribe to our events newsletter, use our RSVP Form.
If your school has an LGBT alumni association, we will share your information with them unless you request otherwise.
