Come celebrate fall with us at Shaffer City Oyster Bar & Grill, the
original venue of acclaimed restaurateur Jay Shaffer. Jay takes good
care of us with ample appetizers and one of the most extensive
selections of draft beer in NYC! Our last event here was a tremendous
success with a packed house of men and women. To handle the larger
crowd, we'll have our own bar in the back in addition to the one in the
front and take over the back two rooms.
Shaffer City Oyster Bar & Grill is located at the north side of 21st
Street just west of 5th Avenue, especially convenient to the 23rd street
stops of the N/R, F/V, and 6 trains. Check it out at

Thanks to our hosts Shawn Cowls of FFR/Princeton BTGALA, Alexia Koritz
of Columbia Pride, Veronica Mangione of Northwestern University Gay and
Lesbian Alumni, Alison Avera and April Lynn James of the Harvard Gay &
Lesbian Caucus, Karen Kranack of The Georgetown GLBT Alumni Group,
Heidi Russell of Cornell University GALA, Patricia Santillan of the USC
Lambda Association, Libby Halstead of Yale GALA, and Sarah Bernett of
Amherst GALA and Cornell University GALA. We invite all of our Ivy
League, Seven Sisters, NYU Stanford, Duke, UVA, Georgetown, Amherst and
Northwestern friends. Alumni, faculty, staff, and students that are over
21 are welcome.
Hope to see you there!
