You noticed! April 22 is NOT the third Wednesday of the month! But the third Wednesday is April 15, and we think some of us may be busy that evening. So we're meeting on the fourth Wednesday instead.

Brown TBGALA - SF invites its members and all other Bay Area Ivy League TBGALA alumni organizations to our April 22 no-host happy hour at the newest branch of one of San Francisco's favorite institutions, Perry's on the Embarcadero.

In 1969, Perry Butler, a 26-year-old Dartmouth College graduate (go Ivies!), was working as an advertising executive, when he set out to follow his dream of opening his own restaurant. Freshly relocated to San Francisco, and compelled to recreate the hustle and bustle of the New York neighborhood saloons that he missed, Butler opened PerryÕs on Union Street. In late 2008, Perry's on the Embarcadero opened and has become a prime place to see and be seen in downtown San Francisco.

The Ivy group will be meeting near the fireplace in the middle area of the restaurant. Perry's has kindly dedicated special servers for our group and requests that we order our drinks and food through these assigned personnel. We look forward to seeing you there!

We welcome lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered alumni and students from the Ivy League and Seven Sisters schools as well as their partners and friends! Thanks to Brewster Wyckoff of Brown TBGALA for organizing!

To subscribe to our events newsletter, use our RSVP Form.
If your school has an LGBT alumni association, we will share your information with them unless you request otherwise.
