PANE Alumni Schools Committee
We're enjoying our quiet season on the large, boisterous, and mostly highly efficient Alumni Schools Committee of Eastern Massachusetts, but it's not too soon to start taking names of interested interviewers for applicants to Princeton's Class of 2013!
Our active season kicks off with a visit from the Princeton Admission Office for an Information Session for interested high school students at the Westin Hotel in Waltham on Monday, October 6, from 7-9 pm. All interested alumni, especially ASC members, are welcome to attend. In addition, the early fall is the college fair season. Please contact Mary Koger if you would be interested in representing Princeton at a local college fair, perhaps in your town. The real work of meeting applicants and writing up descriptive reports for Princeton starts slowly in December and goes bananas just after the January 1 application deadline. We like to be all wrapped up by the end of February.
If you'd like to be involved in the interesting, important work of representing Princeton to this year's crop of high school seniors, please e-mail Mary Koger '86 at mkskoger@alumni.princeton.edu . You may not hear from us until later in the winter, but we'll keep you in the loop as things heat up.
The Alumni Schools Committee seeks to interview all Princeton applicants from the greater Boston area. ASC work is a great way to help the University, stay in touch with Princeton, and assure that Eastern Massachusetts continues to send a strong, talented, enthusiastic, and diverse group off to Princeton.
Please contact Mary Koger '86 (mkskoger@alumni.princeton.edu, (617) 964-3495) if you'd like to be more involved in the Alumni Schools Committee in Eastern Mass (from 495 in the west to the Cape and the Islands).
Interviewing takes place from October through early March.
To facilitate matching you with candidates in your geographic area, please provide the following information: (1) your name; (2) your class; (3) your home or work address (depending on where you would prefer to receive the infrequent snail-mailings); (4) your telephone number; (5) your e-mail address (virtually all ASC business is conducted by e-mail); and (6) both where you live and work (assuming you would be willing to interview in either location).
