Parents’ Association

The Parents’ Association brings together parents of current students in the Greater Boston area to share in the Princeton experience.

We hold activities and programs throughout the year, including:

  • Summer Send-Off Party – a casual gathering for new students and their parents.
  • September/October Wine and Cheese Party for parents of freshmen and other representatives from the Princeton community. Date and place to be announced.
  • Participation in the Tiger Tent at the Harvard/Princeton football game at Harvard. Volunteers are needed to help staff and serve at the tent during the game.
  • Thanksgiving Bus home and back to school for the Thanksgiving holiday for New England area students. The chartered bus leaves Dillon Gym for the Riverside MBTA station in Newton on Wednesday afternoon, with the reverse trip offered on Sunday afternoon. More detailed information will be mailed to parents in late October.
  • Help with The Parents’ Phonathon in February. This event is sponsored by the University to request donations from current and past parents and can be a lot of fun.
  • April/May Reception in or near Boston for all prospective students who have been admitted to the Class of 2010.
  • Opportunity to join PANE and to participate in activities offered to alumni, students, and parents throughtout the year.
