LECTURE Monday, November 16, 2009
We have been invited by the Lee Institute to see Peter Hessler '92,
an area alum who is now an author whose articles have appeared in The New Yorker,
Atlantic and National Geographic. Peter's books include Rivertown: Two Years on the
Yangtze and Oracle Bones. He will speak on China in a talk entitled "Instant Cities:
Life in a Chinese Factory Town", as part of the Lee Institute Lecture Series (open to the public).
