Alumni Schools CommitteeLast year nearly 6,000 Alumni Schools Committee volunteers worldwide interviewed over 13,600 applicants for the Class of 2009. We hope to reach an even higher number of applicants for the Princeton Class of 2010. The interview process plays a critically important role in establishing personal connections between alumni and applicants, puts a recognizable “face” on the application and helps the Admission Office to select an outstanding class for Princeton each year. The Princeton Club of Tulsa Alumni Schools Committee interviews prospective candidates from all over Eastern Oklahoma for admission to Princeton and assists qualified applicants by answering their questions about the University and the admission process. Serving on the Committee entails interviewing and writing a brief report on 2 or 3 applicants and can involve attending regional “college fairs” or high school “college nights” as a representative of the University if one is interested. This is a great opportunity to meet and positively interact with some outstanding young people and provides an invaluable service to Princeton at the same time. If you, or someone you know, is interested in serving on the Committee, please contact George Schnetzer, MD ‘60 |
