The Princeton Club of Philadelphia Use of Yahoo Groups
Click here for a list of currently active Princeton Club of Philadelphia Yahoo Groups.
In an attempt to better serve you and fellow Princeton Alumni in the Philadelphia region, we are using Yahoo Groups to facilitate our email distribution to you about Princeton Club of Philadelphia events and activities and to start discussion groups for special interests, such as the book club, athletics, and career networking.
We hope this will provide an easy way to keep you informed of upcoming events, provide you flexibility about when and how to receive emails, and protect the privacy of your email address. Use of the Yahoo Group is separate from the TigerNet distribution function the Club or classes use. You must change your TigerNet settings or contact the Alumni Council to affect these messages and the address to which they are delivered.
In addition to being subject to the privacy policies of Yahoo! (http//privacy.yahoo.com/privacy/us/print.html), there are also special policies for Yahoo Groups (http//help.yahoo.com/help/groups). The Princeton Club of Philadelphia takes your privacy seriously and will use your email address only for purposes relating to PCOP events and activities for those groups for which the purpose is to inform you about events (i.e. the Young Alumni group, where only the Princeton Club of Philadelphia group moderator can distribute messages to email addresses on the list.). Some groups, however, may also be used for discussion, in which case members of the group will be able to email the group (i.e. The Book Club and Career Networking groups).
You can choose to remove yourself, receive all messages (every 2-3 weeks), receive only "special notices" (every 4-6 weeks), or no messages at all. To do this, you can either log into the Yahoo Groups website, edit your existing Yahoo profile, or you can write to webmaster@phillytigers.com with your request. For groups with discussions, you can also choose to receive a daily digest that is one email containing all emails sent in the prior 24 hours period.
If at anytime you wish to unsubscribe from a list you can do so easily by emailing the appropriate unsubscribe email address (see the list of groups for this address). If you are using a forwarding email, please write to remove@phillytigers.com with the email address you would like removed.
Please email us with any additional questions or comments. Thank you!
