Wine dinner and conversation with Chef Georges Perrier,

sommelier Brian McMahon, and general manager Marc Grika

Dinner begins at 7pm

 

Please join Philadelphia's Young Alumni for a happy hour and special dining event at the world-famous Le Bec-Fin. Chef Georges Perrier and sommelier Brian McMahon have created a 3-course dinner with paired wines that feature the best ingredients of the winter season.

 

The happy hour, at Le Bar Lyonnais (downstairs from Le Bec-Fin) will feature drink specials and complimentary hors d’oeuvres.

 

During dinner, Chef Perrier will discuss the menu and some of the highlights of his 50 years in the restaurant industry, while Brian McMahon will explain the wine pairings. Marc Grika, the general manager in charge of all of Chef Perrier’s restaurant, will also speak about Le Bec-Fin and current trends in the restaurant industry.

1st Course, choice of:

Chilled Seafood Salad with Apple Cucumber Consommé & Arborio Lemon Crisp, paired with Viognier Domaine Saint Amant 2005
OR
Roasted Fennel Soup with Apple Caraway Salad, paired with Viognier Domaine Saint Amant 2005


2nd Course, choice of:

Prime Roasted Sirloin with Root Vegetable, Sauce Bordelaise, paired with Chateau Duplessy, Bordeaux 2005
OR

Grilled Yellowfin Tuna with Winter Squashes, Black Trumpet Mushrooms and Sage Emulsion, paired with Montoya Pinot Noir, Monterey 2005


Followed by a dessert course with choice of coffee or tea. Le Bec Fin is business casual attire.
