September 2004 Princeton Career NetNight In Philly

Come join us for the September NetNight in Philadelphia!

WHEN:   Thursday, September 9, 2004

        5:45 to 8:00 PM

TOPIC: “My experiences in organizing and operating two successful
non-profits - Charlestown Cooperative Farm and the Phoenixville Farmers' Market ”

Do you have an idea for a nonprofit that you would like to see get up and running? Come listen to someone who has been through the process twice. Learn from their experiences. Find out the details of the legal/accounting issues involved.

Our speaker will be Bill Anderson ’81. Bill graduated from Princeton in 1981 with a degree in geological engineering and Wharton School with an MBA in 1983.  He then worked in the Small Business Advisory Service of Price Waterhouse for two years and has been in the real estate development business since then with Longview Development LP
(www.longviewlp.com) and predecessor firms where he has focused on shopping center development in the Philadelphia suburbs.

He now spends about a third of his time on non-profit farming projects he has helped to start including a farmers' market
(www.phoenixvillefarmersmarket.com) and a community supported farm
(www.charlestowncooperativefarm.org). Bill lives with my wife and children on a farm outside Phoenixville.

Come join us for this event to meet fellow Philadelphia-area Princetonians and build or expand your personal network for anything from job referrals to business referrals to finding a baby sitter.
