The Princeton Alumni Association of Germany, officially known as the Verein der Freunde zur Förderung
der Universität Princeton e. V., is registered under German law as a
tax-exempt society dedicated to the promotion of German-American cultural exchange.
(VRB 2506 Amtsgericht Wiesbaden.) It pursues this goal in a number of ways:
- The support of all activities at Princeton University having to do with the study of German language, literature, history, and culture.
- The support of the Princeton Summer Work Program through which Princeton students studying German have the opportunity to work
for eight weeks during the summer vacation at a German firm or institution.
- The recruitment of gifted German applicants, and other applicants based in Germany, to study at Princeton.
The Princeton Verein is more than just an alumni association. Anyone in favor of promoting
European-American friendship through the above-mentioned activities will be cordially welcomed as a member. You can download the membership application form by clicking here.
