Myths and Hymns The PANYC Arts Series kicks off 2012 with a dinner and performance evening at MYTHS AND HYMNS, a sophisticated musical theater work featuring a performance by alumnus Bob Stillman '76, and presented by the alumni-driven Prospect Theatre Company. Join Prospect's founding artists and fellow theater-goers for an intimate, 3-course prix fixe dinner and great discussion at a restaurant close to the theater, prior to the 8pm performance. Your $80 ticket includes both the dinner and performance.

In every life, there comes a moment when we must choose what to hold on to…and what to let go. A restless daughter, a mother without words, a righteous father, and a lost son. Venture into one family’s mythologized past as director Elizabeth Lucas (Clear Blue Tuesday) offers her innovative vision for this song-cycle by Tony Award-winning composer and lyricist Adam Guettel (The Light at the Piazza).

This event is a continuation of PANYC's "Princeton Alumni in Performing Arts" series, which was founded in 2001 and is curated by Susan Jonas '81 and Jean Telljohann '81 to celebrate Princeton alumni working in the performing and visual arts, to increase support of the performing and visual arts among Princeton alumni audiences, and to raise the profile of the arts as a critical and joyous part of the examined life for the individual and the culture. To date the series has featured the work of alumni dancers, choreographers, composers, playwrights, directors, arts administrators, and offered audiences the opportunity to get an insider's view by meeting with alumni in the arts.
