Frequently Asked Questions

How do I join?
To join the group and RSVP for the upcoming meeting, please send an e-mail to Jon Gordon '99 (healthcare@panycweb.org) with your class year and a very brief summary of your healthcare experience.

Who can join the PANYC healthcare networking group?
To participate in this group, you must be a Princeton alumnus (undergraduate or graduate) who is either currently or recently (within the last 3 years) employed in the healthcare industry or work on healthcare issues in your role in another industry. This ensures that every member derives value from their participation in the group, and that meetings are not simply forums for job seekers. Please note that while we encourage it, you do not have to be a dues-paying member of PANYC to participate.

What are the benefits of membership?
The goal of this group is to hold monthly meetings and events where members can share industry perspectives and develop a broader understanding of the challenges and opportunities we all face. Consequently, we would like to ensure that the group offers valuable learning and networking opportunities for all participants.

What is planned for the meetings?
We would like to have each meeting feature a presentation by either a group member or a guest speaker, along with a discussion among members. We will also have time for networking at the beginning and end of each meeting.

How can I get more involved?
We welcome anyone interested in joining the steering committee for the healthcare group, and we are looking for alums interested in working to plan events. There are roles of varying time involvement to accommodate any schedule, from participating in brainstorming types of events to planning and executing an event.

How do I get on the email list?
Please contact the committee via email at healthcare@panycweb.org with a brief description of your professional background. In addition, we encourage you to update your Tigernet profile with your professional information since we use Tigernet to identify those alumni who indicate that the nature of their business or field of specialty is related to healthcare.
