2008
•September 2nd: A presentation at the IHC in Delhi, featuring Woody Woo alumna and current Assistant Dean for Graduate Education at WWS, Karen McGuinness. Go to the Events tab for more information.
•Princeton Wins Ivy Squash! The Tigers claimed the 2008 Ivy Championship in men's squash with clean 9-0 sweeps over every Ivy rival, including the Crimson (Harvard) and Bulldogs (Yale). The women's team also had a great year, winning the national title by defeating U Penn 6-3 in the finals. Nikhil Seth (C '11) of Bombay plays with the men's team, while Indo-Canadian Neha Kumar (C '10) of Oakville Ontario is the second seed on the women's team. Read more...

Tiger alum Namita Devidayal (Politics '91), a journalist in Bombay, recently published her first book, a non-fiction memoir about Indian classical music entitled "The Music Room", which Pandit Ravi Shankar has said is "a must for every musician and music lover!’. Visit Random House India for more information. Namita is currently working on her second book, a novel about an Indian business family.

•Princeton Club of India wins the John Maclean Award! This is awarded each year by the Alumni Council to the most improved regional association, and was presented to PCI at this year's Reunions. Since being resurrected in 2006, PCI has done much to build the Princeton-India network: establishing a website, hosting several events/talks, and working to increase visits by faculty and admissions office representatives to India.
