"In September 1966, following an unexpectedly successful term as Chairman of Annual Giving, I attended the regular meeting of Trustees in the Princeton Inn's basement auditorium. After lunch, wandering with a camera on a rare autumnal campus, I made some Kodacolor shots at random. On the front campus, my back to Nassau Street and FitzRandolph Gate, I caught Nassau Hall framed by its trees and lighted by the setting sun. In later Annual Giving campaigns, Fred Fox '39 caused the resulting image to become part of the campaign letterhead of many classes."
